Australian Silver Earrings

Wear a beautiful piece of Australian art with these striking Australian silver earrings.

Artist Mary Anne Nampijinpa Michaels created the painting that inspires this design. Her work tells the Dreamtime story of a rainbow serpent rising from a rock hole in Western Australia.

According to the story, the rainbow serpent rose from the waterhole and ate everyone gathered around it. Mary Anne belongs to the Warlukurlangu Artists group, and her licensed artwork features on these contemporary earrings.

A special photo-anodising technique transfers the artwork onto aluminium. Each earring has a polished sterling silver detail, creating contemporary and vibrant Australian jewellery with a strong connection to Aboriginal art.

The earrings measure 11mm wide and 60mm long from the top of the earwire.
