These large drop earrings are crocheted by hand using a simple crochet hook. They are made of fine brass wire which has been plated in sterling silver and then oxidised to a charcoal grey and burnt copper colour.

Milena Zu is known for her edgy wire mesh jewellery. She is Italian born and came through Indonesia during her travels where she saw the skills of of local artisans who are still using the ancient method of hand making the fine metal wires and crocheting them into beautiful shapes. Milena stayed in Indonesia and now collaborates with the locals artisans to create her amazing jewellery.
