Shipping

Orders will be shipped 1-2 business days after payment has been confirmed and we will confirm shipment to you with an email.

Parcels both to Australia and overseas may require a signature for delivery and it is best if you can give us an address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel, e.g. your work address. If you are not able to sign, the courier will leave a card and you can pick up the parcel at a designated post office.

Shipping within Australia

Australia Express Post: 1-3 business days, price $10.

All domestic orders over $150 will have free shipping.

Shipping outside Australia

Standard: 10+ business days, price from AU$18 depending on location.

Express: 4-6 business days between major metro areas, price from AU$28 depending on location.

The cost for overseas shipping will be calculated in the Checkout once you’ve entered your shipping destination.

We ship worldwide and the delivery times depend on the destination and time of year and are unfortunately out of our control. Parcels may also be held briefly by Customs in the receiving country pending clearance and this is also out of our control.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING….when gifting someone overseas

Do you want us to ship to a different country to where you live? Not a problem. During checkout, just fill in the shipping address with the address we are sending to as opposed to your own billing address. In the notes, please provide a mobile number for the recipient as this is required by international couriers.

This may affect your payment options depending on where you are. Some countries have fraud prevention laws which prevent payment merchants such as eg PayPal from processing an order with a shipping country different to where you live. There are ways around it though.

If you live in Australia and wish us to ship overseas for you, then please choose either credit card payment or bank transfer as your payment method in the checkout.

If you live outside Australia, you can go through PayPal. The laws of your country will determine whether you are able to complete your purchase through PayPal on our site. If PayPal rejects it, don’t worry, we can instead send you a PayPal invoice.

  1. Send us an email with your purchase details, billing and shipping address and any message you want us to write in a gift card.
  2. Login to your PayPal account and go to Send Money where you enter our email address, info@crowdedsilver.com.au, the amount and click Submit.
  3. You will receive a confirmation from PayPal and from Crowded Silver.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
All items shipped outside of Australia may be subject to duties and taxes in the destination country and these will be payable by you. As countries have different rules, we suggest you check with our local Customs office beforehand and should you refuse to pay any costs associated with the import and the parcel is returned to us at a cost, we reserve the right to deduct this cost from your refund. As overseas parcels may be subject to Customs inspections, this may cause a delay in delivery but unfortunately this is out of our hands.

EU AND UK – NEW VAT IMPORT RULES
From July 1, 2021, new import rules were introduced in the EU as well as in the UK. All imports are now subject to VAT. Any shipments to the EU and the UK may be liable for VAT at the rate for the particular country. Please be aware that VAT may be payable before cleared by Customs.
